Rigfiles share data safely and reliably
Rigfiles utilizes TLS 1.2 encryption for all communications throughout the application. Our focus is always on security while allowing for easy data collaboration. Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol allows for client/server communication over the internet in a way that is designed to prevent data forgery, tampering and eavesdropping. It is the best encryption option available at this point in time for secure communications. The TLS Client/Server diagram demonstrates at a high level how TLS works within client (you), server (us) framework.
Typical server to client communication "http" is done with no encryption. This allows for many potential security issues to take place for example, username password interception, data eves dropping, man in the middle attacks, plus many others. An overview of TCP TLS/SSL diagrams demonstrates on the left what a typical "http" session looks like with TCP and on the right side demonstrates what it looks like with all Rigfiles.com communications.
Rigfiles is always up to date with the latest encryption protocols and continuously stays up to date with current versions to protect our clientele base using the best security available on the market today.
