A: Yes, we offer custom development setups at a very good price for company's so they can host their own private data sharing platform with the same feel as RigFiles including all the same benefits but private for you and your company only. We also setup hybrid custom deployments meaning you can have one of your file servers on premise and one in the public cloud.
A: Geographic targeting is a feature of RigFiles that allows you to set geogrpahic targets for your uploaders based on their location. For example, you have a resevoir engineering group that operates primarily out of the United States, Texas area and dont want their large uploads to go to a server in Canada or vice versa. You can have your engineering group upload to a file server in Texas when they are in Texas and upload to a server in Calgary when they are in Calgary. All files are still visible to the users as normal but the uploads are much faster due to the geo targeted server for uploads. Closer you are to the server the faster the upload. This is all done automatically based dynamically on their physical location at the time of upload.
